The mission of the RPMSDF is to facilitate sustainable development of regional mass media, promote freedom of speech, and support development of independent journalism in Georgia.
IT supports member papers with zero-rate credits for financially sustainable project aimed at readership enhancement. Its board members, representing the member papers, make the credit awarding decisions through consensus and support each other with inter-collegial management consultancy for the financed projects successful implementation.
Apart from this core activity the Fund implements other projects as well in support of the independent media development in Georgia.
